This is part of companys plans to expand on the operation system software beyond smartphones and tablets. The internet giant is trying to answer the earlier statements by its rival Apple for upcoming innovations.

The manufacturing initiative underlines Googles determination to build on the success of Android. The software it launched in 2008 that powered 75% of all smartphones and 57% of tablets and which shipped globally, according to the research firm IDC was a proven success for the firm.

Games that run on Android software have gained a global popularity as they are even outgrowing games made for the big-name consoles supplied by Microsoft Corp., Sony Corp. and Nintendo Co.
