According to an accidental Microsoft Store listing, cited by Seeking Alpha, a smart speaker featuring Microsofts Cortana voice assistant could be released in stores soon. Manufactured by Harman Kardon, the speaker was announced earlier in 2017, with only a limited set of details being provided.

Microsoft shares closed higher for a third consecutive trading session on Friday. The stock inched up 0.04% ($0.03) to $76.00, with the intraday high and the intraday low being at $76.02 and $75.54 respectively.

In the week ended on October 8th the shares of the tech giant added 2.03% to their market value compared to a week ago, which marked a second consecutive period of gains and also the best performance since the week ended on July 16th.

The stock has extended its advance to 2.03% so far during the current month, following a 0.37% decrease in September. The latter has been the first drop out of three months.

For the entire past year, the shares of the NASDAQ-listed company gained 12.00%. The stock has risen 22.30% so far in 2017.

According to the Microsoft Store listing, the Harman Kardon Invoke speaker may be valued at $199, which would place it above the Google Home base model, priced at $129, as well as the Echo Plus by Amazon, priced at $149. However, the listing did not disclose a specific release date.

According to CNN Money, the 31 analysts, offering 12-month forecasts regarding Microsoft’s stock price, have a median target of $82.00, with a high estimate of $90.00 and a low estimate of $49.00. The median estimate is a 7.89% surge compared to the closing price of $76.00 on October 6th.

The same media also reported that 23 out of 33 surveyed investment analysts had rated Microsoft’s stock as “Buy”, while 8 – as “Hold”. On the other hand, 1 analyst had recommended selling the stock.
